Privacy Policy

The EMS Ventilator Simulator is a free educational training tool. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not ask you for any personal information.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, payment details or any other identifying information about you.

We do not collect or store patient information. The simulator is a training aid and has no facility for entering real patient data.

Your results, and the history of the graded cases you have run, are stored in your own browser on your own device. They stay there until you clear them — from the simulator's data settings, or by clearing your browser data.

You can also choose to send that record to the vault, and to file cases there. Anything in the vault is stored on our server under a code you hold and we never see. It holds no personal information about you. Cases are deleted automatically after six months without use; graded runs are never deleted for age, and a vault keeps the most recent of them.

Like most websites, the service that hosts this app may automatically record standard technical information when a page is requested — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you opened and the time of each request. This is used to keep the service secure, reliable and available, and to diagnose faults.

This information is not used to identify you personally and is not used for advertising.

This app does not use advertising, tracking or profiling cookies.

Your browser's local storage keeps the app working between visits. It holds your graded results and progress, your simulator preferences, the vault code you hold, and a cached copy of the case library so the app still works without a signal. None of it is shared with third parties, and you can clear it at any time from the simulator's data settings.

The app is hosted on the Base44 platform. Scenario content is served from the app's own database, and anything you place in the vault — cases and graded runs alike — is stored there as well. We do not sell, rent or trade any information to third parties, because there is no personal information about you for us to collect.

This app is intended for healthcare professionals, students and trainees. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

This app is for training and education only. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, and it must not be used for the care of any real patient or to make clinical decisions. Simulated physiology is an approximation for teaching purposes and does not represent any individual patient.
